From The Medicine Room (and other random musings...)

Well, I've started a blog! Which feels slightly funny to say, because as these things do, it came totally left field having never really considered writing a blog, until of course, I'd decided to write one.

So here we are.

I've called it From the Medicine Room, because I wanted somewhere to put some of the things that move through my studio space — and through me.

Not polished answers. Or a weekly dose of wisdom (although if I sense I have some to share, you're very welcome to it).

It definitely won't be a place where I pretend to have everything figured out. I don't think any of us ever really do, if we're allowing ourselves to be honest and true.

More a place for musings. Things I'm noticing and curious about (of which there are many!).

Threads I'm following and the rabbit holes they're taking me down.

Sometimes that might be the nervous system or the body. Sometimes sound, voice, energy or intuition. Sometimes astrology or something metaphysical that has caught my attention. Things I've noticed in my own life or in the Medicine Room that make me stop and think.

There will probably be questions here too. Ones that can just hang here for a while.

Because I'm increasingly interested in what happens when we allow ourselves to stay curious for a little longer, rather than rushing towards an answer.

Some of these things will connect to the work I do.

Some won't.

And some may simply be things I want to explore out loud. Things happening in my own 'normal' muggle life.

So that's what you can expect to find here.

A collection of thoughts, observations, questions and things I'm discovering along the way.

A little less polished than some blogs perhaps but real, and very honest. There could be swearing but it'll always be elegant and stylish..lol

This will be somewhere to follow the threads of whatever is quietly (and sometimes not so quietly) asking for my attention.

Welcome to From the Medicine Room, love Kerry
